Liverpool won the 1982 League Cup Final, beating Tottenham 3-1 at Wembley on 13 March 1982. This was Liverpool's third League Cup final appearance, and their second triumph in two years.
This sealed a double for the Reds, winning both the League Cup and the First Division in the 1981-82 season.
