The Carling Cup final. This was the first trophy Chelsea would win under Jose Murihno. John Arne Riise scored the fastest goal in the history of the League Cup final to give Liverpool the lead, before a Steven Gerrard own goal forced the game into extra time. Jose Murihno is then sent off from the touchline after shushing the Liverpool fans during the aftermath of the own goal. Didier Drogba and Mateja Kežman score to give the Blues a 1-3 lead, before Antonio Nunez pulled a goal back to make it 2-3. However it wasn't enough and Chelsea lifted the Carling Cup. Rob Hawthorne & Andy Gray commentary.
