Jan Kromkamp (born August 17, 1980) is a Dutch professional footballer who played for Liverpool in 2006. He left to sign for PSV Eindhoven on 31 August 2006.
Liverpool career[]
Kromkamp signed for Liverpool on 4 January 2006 in a swap deal with Villarreal for Josemi. He made his debut in a third round FA Cup clash with Luton Town in a 5-3 win on 7 January 2006. In total, Kromkamp made only made 14 league appearances and four FA Cup caps. Kromkamp's short career at Liverpool was due mostly to his inability to make a name for himself in the first team with the likes of Steve Finnan at right back. Having spent just half a season at Liverpool, he departed on 31 August 2006 joining PSV Eindhoven.
