Kristof Polgar (born 28 November 1996) is a Hungarian footballer who played as a defender for the Liverpool Academy from 2013 to 2016.

Liverpool careerEdit

Liverpool recruited Polgar from Hungarian club MTK Budapest in early 2013, as part of their continued recruitment drive from the country that has seen such players as Krisztian Nemeth, Peter Gulacsi and Krisztian Adorjan join the club. Liverpool signed Polgar after he impressed during two trial periods with the Reds. He made his debut for the U18s in the 2013-14 season, however unfortunately for Polgar, on 26 October 2013 he suffered a knee ligament injury in the U18s 3-3 draw against Southampton, reportedly ruling him out of action for up to eight months.

Unfortunately on 10 June 2016, Polgar was released from the club.
