1977 European Cup Final
Liverpool FC won their first European Cup by beating Borussia Monchengladbach 3-1. Borussia Monchengladbach were incidentally, the club beaten by Liverpool in their first UEFA Cup final win in 1973. Bob Paisley became the first person to manage a club to victory in the European Cup after winning the UEFA Cup in the preceeding year. (more...)

Stephen John Finnan (born 24 April 1976) is an Irish football player, who currently plays for Liverpool at right back.
Finnan wears the no.3 shirt for Liverpool, and has been playing for Liverpool since 2003 after signing from Fulham for a fee of about £4.9m.
Finnan's first season at Anfield was disrupted by a succession of injuries. However, the campaign ended on a high as Liverpool clinched fourth place and a UEFA Champions League qualifying spot. (more...)
