Martin Hansen (born 15 June 1990) is a Danish goalkeeper who played for Liverpool from 2006 to 2012.

Liverpool career[]

The Danish stopper joined Liverpool's academy in the summer of 2006 from Brondby, and was part of the team that won the 2007 FA Youth Cup Final. Hansen played in the first leg of the final with a broken finger, having injured it pre-match warmup, but was unable to take part in the second leg.

He was promoted to Melwood in the 2007-08 season, but failed to appear in a matchday squad until the 2010-11 season. His first inclusion in a matchday squad came against Northampton in the League Cup third round tie on 22 September 2010, and finished the season having made the bench six times.

Hansen joined League Two club Bradford City on 28 July 2011 on a month long loan - with a view to extending it.

On 31 January 2012, Hansen permanently signed for Danish side Viborg FF.
