Željko Buvač (born 13 September 1961) is a Bosnian-Serb football coach, currently the assistant manager of Liverpool F.C. He is Jurgen Klopp's right hand man, serving as his assistant at FSV Mainz 05 having previously played alongside him at the club. Buvac continued his role as Klopp's assistant at Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool careerEdit

After many years at Dortmund, Buvac left the club on Jurgen Klopp’s resignation. On 8 October 2015, Klopp was appointed as manager of Liverpool, and it was confirmed that several members of his previous backroom staff would be joining him, with Buvac being confirmed as assistant manager.

On 6 February 2016, Buvac took charge of the Reds for a 2-2 draw with Sunderland, as Klopp was absent due to appendicitis.
